Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? Call (818) 399-9905 — a real advisor answers 7 days a week.

Will I Actually Get To Fly The Plane?

Yes. On a discovery flight your instructor handles takeoff, then hands you the controls once you’re safely airborne. Most of your flight is real stick time — not a sightseeing tour.

Do I Need Any Experience To Start?

None at all. The vast majority of our students begin with zero flight time. If you can commit to lessons, we’ll take you from your first flight to a certificate.

How Long Does It Take To Get A License?

A Sport Pilot license can be earned in as few as 20 flight hours. A Private Pilot certificate can be completed in as little as 30 days on our accelerated track — or part-time around your schedule.

How Much Does Training Cost?

Discovery flights start at $229, Sport Pilot is $8,400, Private Pilot starts at $10,900, and the full airline career track is $89,000 all-in. Interest-free in-house plans and long-term financing are available.

Where Are You Located?

We fly out of Van Nuys Airport (KVNY), 7900 Balboa Blvd, Van Nuys, CA — one of the world’s busiest general-aviation airports, with easy access from across Los Angeles.

Do You Offer Financing?

Yes. You can pay the school directly with interest-free plans (no credit check), or finance through Stratus Financial for terms up to 15 years. Ask us about the best option for your program.
